Over the years, he has collaborated with some of the most well-known Italian artists, including Mina, Eros Ramazzotti, Irene Grandi, Renato Zero, Vasco Rossi, Gianluca Grignani, Mario Venuti, Stadio, Alex Baroni, Celentano, Ornella Vanoni, and Loredana Bertè. In more than 20 years of his career, he has worked on over 200 albums.

Nicolò Fragile, born in Leonforte on September 20, 1966, moved to Milan with his family a few months after birth. He started his career at a very young age as a jazz/rock pianist, and shortly after the mid-'80s, he began making a name for himself as a session musician, recording for artists such as Roberto Vecchioni, Loredana Bertè, and Riccardo Fogli. Over the years, he gained increasing familiarity as a sound engineer.

He is one of the very few Italian artists known internationally both as a musician and as a producer and arranger, widely recognized and appreciated in various musical genres, from pop to rock, jazz to metal. Beginning in 1998 with the album "Leggera," his prestigious collaboration with Mina has now spanned a decade. A special mention goes to the record-breaking album "MinaCelentano" from 1998, where Nicolò's innovative sound as a pianist and arranger significantly contributed to the album's success. Besides their artistic collaboration, Nicolò and Mina share a sincere bond of friendship and mutual respect. Noteworthy is also the album "Bula Bula" (2005), where Nicolò is the author and composer of the songs "Vai e vai e vai" and "Dove sarai."

Since 2001, Nicolò Fragile has been the guest keyboardist for "Gotthard," the quintessential Swiss rock band. With 12 out of 13 albums entering directly into the top 10, Gotthard has achieved millions of copies sold worldwide. Nicolò has been actively involved in their global album promotion tours, dedicating several months each year. One of his notable contributions to Gotthard is the famous ballad "Tears to Cry," present in the 2009 album "Need To Believe," which he co-wrote with the singer Steve Lee. The album debuted at number 1 in the charts in September 2009, and "Tears to Cry" is one of the three singles released from it. Since 2002, Stadio has chosen him as the arranger and producer for "Occhi negli occhi," which includes the single "Sorprendimi." The single marked Stadio's return to the radio, earning them 3 platinum records. Nicolò has worked on all subsequent discography of the band. From "Parole nel Vento" (2007), the song "Guardami" was extracted, and the band participated in the Sanremo Festival of the same year. Nicolò was engaged in orchestral direction, conducting them in the duet with Teresa Salgueiro, the singer of Madredeus. In the same album, he is a co-author of the song "Innamorarsi ancora."
In 2003, Nicolò Fragile commenced his collaboration with Irene Grandi as a producer and arranger. Together with Vasco Rossi and Gaetano Curreri, he contributed to the creation of the album "Prima di partire," followed by "Indelebile" in 2005 and "Irene Grandi Hits" featuring the song "Bruci la città" in 2007. Nicolò's touch was instrumental in guiding the artist's transition from a youthful musical image to a more mature and substantial one.
Since 2004, Nicolò Fragile has been the producer for Mario Lavezzi, arranging and producing albums such as "Passionalità" in 2004 and "A piu’ voci" in 2009. In 2007, Mara Maionchi invited him to collaborate as the Vocal Coach for the 16-24 category in the first edition of the television format X Factor. In this role, he discovered and selected talents with Mara, including Silvia Aprile (later produced by Pino Daniele) and Tony Maiello (winner of the 2010 Sanremo Festival in the Nuova Generazione category). Nicolò is still involved in the realization of various record projects for the program, including creating arrangements for the compilation "X Factor Christmas Album." In 2008, Nicolò collaborated with Jacob Samuel, the singer of the Poodles (a Swedish heavy metal band formed in 2006), in composing songs for their new album expected the following spring.
